With the world waiting with baited breath for Justice‘s next LP due pretty soon, here we’ve got a stream of Audio, Video, Disco which had its first airing when Ed Banger Rec’s head honcho Busy P dropped it during his set at Hard Mix Festival.
It’s a little more 80s pop, and a little less thundering drums and growling bass than many were expecting – but but the boys of the cross have always had a playful side to them. It will be interesting what someone like SebastiAn would make of the remix though…
Oh, and just to make sure you’re ready for the records Ed Banger are dropping over the next few months – here’s a sampler. Now this would make a fucking DISCO: ED REC FALL 2011 DELIVERY by edbangerrecords

We’ve featured Baltimore’s Future Islands (Facebook/Twitter) on a couple of mixtapes over the years and for the simple reason – they make beautiful electronic influenced pop tunes. And now their back with their new album On The Water – dropping on 11th October on Thrill Jockey.
Before The Bridge, the first single from the album offers that spacious electronic vibe that we all love Future Islands for, whilst at the same time giving a knowing wink to that beautifully British 80s sound. Today we’ve got the bonus of wrapping our collective ears around another track in the form of Balance, with another nod to the 80s scene, a delectable pop delight – I can even hear a little Wham when singer sings “and the the sun will leave the room…that’s all right”. I fucking love this.
