For those of you who don’t know, Metric is a Canadian New Wave/Rock band. They formed in 1998 in NYC and are currently based in NY, LA, Montreal, Quebec & Ontario.
The band are: Vocalist Emily Haines, guitarist James Shaw, bassist Josh Winstead and drummer Joules Scott-Key. Norwich folkies Adelaide’s Cape have been kind enough to provide us with an exclusive bedroom demo version of a brand new song called Stay, which can be heard below. Formed in 2006, the band are currently playing shows around East Anglia and Cambridgeshire, to critical acclaim from local press and radio.
