The Blue Walrus has been on a new server for a while, but I have been working on the new layout and have just finished it. Also, I have a little more time on my hands at the moment, so there should be some more regular updates.

I’ve got a few bands/artists in mind for the coming weeks. Also, as our userbase has exploded recently, the YSI links we have been using are going dead within a couple of days. To remedy this situation we will be using a different file server from now on that gives us more flexibility and longer storage. Stay tuned…

I’ve been saying this site was going to go live since the summer, but never got round to actually setting it up. So here it is, the start, the start of a new mp3 and music blog from the UK. The team behind this site are at univeristies spanning the United Kingdom from Edinburgh to London, so we should be able to give you the latest ramblings on the music scene across the country.

I’ll let each member introduce themselves a little better within their own posts, and let them give their preferred method of contact, but for any general comments or enquiries about this site, give us a shout (email link is on the left menu).
