Hope you all had a good Christmas and have something massive planned for new year. I couldn’t let it slip by without posting up some of these crackers which make up, yup, Clap Your Hands To The Electricity 6. As per usual, we’ve got some of the established (Digitalism and Thomas Bangalter) and some of the new (Hot Pink Delorean and Danger) and they are all beautiful. And by beautiful I mean shifting to some dirty synths and beats with a little bit of pop mixed in for sweetness.

Good old auntie (the BBC for those not from the UK) have released their top ten list of bands and artists to watch in 2007. This is my take on their pickings:
10. The Rumble Strips [MySpace]
It is about time these guys get huge! I first saw their promo video for Motorcycle at the end of last year and fell in love with their sax and trumpets from then. They right simple and fun pop songs with a brass section which puts them a step above the rest.

Folllowing a post on Mystery and Misery about Moistorks coming under fire by the IFPI, and the useful ideas set forth by Jason, it got me thinking about the purpose of mp3 blogs, especially this one.
We exist to promote the bands and music we love, nothing else. And following the same format as the post referred to above, …

I’ve been saying this site was going to go live since the summer, but never got round to actually setting it up. So here it is, the start, the start of a new mp3 and music blog from the UK. The team behind this site are at univeristies spanning the United Kingdom from Edinburgh to London, so we should be able to give you the latest ramblings on the music scene across the country.
I’ll let each member introduce themselves a little better within their own posts, and let them give …
