Bands to watch: Year of the Tiger

Tigers are powerful but endangered species and make for a much better name for this Brooklyn sweaty electro-rock duo than 2011′s beast – the rabbit. Year of the Tiger may offer easy comparisons with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sleigh Bells, and Le Tigre but on their shoestring-recorded free debut EP they have had no problems finding their own sound.
