Introducing: Yuck
Yuck landed in my inbox associated with Modest Mouse who they’ll be supporting at The Troxy in London on September 8th. They’ll also be doing dates with the band in Newcastle and Liverpool – you’ll find a full list of their upcoming tour dates at the bottom of this post.
Their beautiful alt-rock sounds are reminiscient of a lot of great American alt-rock bands such as Goo Goo Dolls and Modest Mouse themselves, and the fantastic boy-girl vocals remind me of The Joy Formidable in places. Really gorgeous stuff. Everything about Yuck is anything but yuck, in fact, and they’re well worth a listen.
