Mumford & Sons :: Debut Album & Video Premiere

13 August 2009 2 Comments

Mumford & Sons 5

I am fall-off-my-chair-excited to hear that Mumford & Sons will be releasing their debut album ‘Sigh No More’ through Gentlemen Of The Road/Island Records on the 5th October. ‘Little Lion Man’ will be released as the first single from the album on 28th September, a song that Zane Lowe has featured as ‘The Hottest Record In The World’ on BBC Radio 1.

Alongside this exciting news, Mumford & Sons will also be playing a special one-off intimate show at London’s Borderline on August 24th, where their music video for the new single will be premiered. The Blue Walrus, unfortunately, isn’t able to attend, but we highly recommend that you do! Tickets are available from www.wegottickets.com for the humble price of £8.

Though we won’t be at Borderline, we will be reviewing (and folk orgasming over) an autumn tour date. Just in case you missed our Mumford tour announcement some weeks ago, the dates are as follows:

Absolutely. Their EPs are all fantastic (as they are live), so this will certainly be one of the records to watch.
