I have included some great remixes of The Rakes (MySpace) in my last two Clap Your Hands to the Electricity (2) compilations over the past few weeks and we are all treated today to one of their live performances from Melkweg in Amsterdam via a webcast from the nice folks at FabChannel. Tracks from the new Arctic Monkeys seem to be springing up all over the place. Some of it is great like 505, but others I’m not so sure about at the moment.

I am not going to tell you where to get it, so don’t ask, but here is an example of the melancholy side that they show on a couple of tracks. Don’t worry though, they have plenty of rock in there too.

I have been wanting to put a decent sized mix together of new rave and disco punk for a while and the Easter break has given me enough time to put it up.

The mix inlcudes all the big names of Simian Mobile Disco, Justice and the Klaxons as well as some lesser known bands such as We Smoke Fags and Boys Noize. This is beautiful, dirty electronic goodness.
