I have included some great remixes of The Rakes (MySpace) in my last two Clap Your Hands to the Electricity (2) compilations over the past few weeks and we are all treated today to one of their live performances from Melkweg in Amsterdam via a webcast from the nice folks at FabChannel. The last CTTE Mix has become The Blue Walrus’ most downloaded mix to date and so I thought it only right to follow it up with a second volume before exam revision takes over so posts will be more limited to only new bands that I find and absolutely love.

There are some big names again on here from DJ Mehdi and Justice, as well as a fantastic remix of Bloc Party by SebastiAn I picked up from GWFAS, and some other great tracks by less known artists and bands such as To My Boy.

New Arctic Monkeys leaks

Tracks from the new Arctic Monkeys seem to be springing up all over the place. Some of it is great like 505, but others I’m not so sure about at the moment.

I am not going to tell you where to get it, so don’t ask, but there is an example of the melancholy side that they show on a couple of tracks. Don’t worry though, they have plenty of rock in there too.
