If you haven’t heard TV On The Radio then you should seriously download some of their stuff, they have a new album coming out on july 5th or something called Return To Cookie Mountain, which I am listening to as I write this on nme.com, and it sounds f***ing ace. They are undisputably sonic masters, their sound is pretty expansive and epic but also very soulful at times, especially on the first album Desperate Youth and Bloodthirsty Babes. I can’t get this Autolux track out of my head, its slow coolness always crops up when I’m daydreaming… didn’t like it at first mind so give it a chance and all that. I can’t don’t think it reminds me of anything, though I’ve read reviews that have mentioned Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine, which kind of make sense. I am yet to decide about the rest of the album (Future Perfect), but I have only given it one listen so I’ll withhold judgement!
